Cookies
When you visit a page that records cookies, a small text cookie file is created on your computer. A cookie file is a short text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device (including tablet) when you browse it. If you visit the same page again, it allows a faster connection. In addition, the site “recognizes” you and offers the information you prefer, ensures that the same advertisement is not shown repeatedly, and, when filling in identification data, it offers to complete what you entered during previous visits to the web environment. Based on this information, it displays relevant content and offers of estimated activities and services you might use.
We use cookies to analyze website traffic via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These are analytical tools that help website and app owners understand how their visitors use these tools. Cookies may be used to collect statistical data on website usage without personally identifying individual visitors.
Legal Basis for Processing
If, when recording data, we are able to identify the person visiting the web environment, it constitutes personal data processing. For such processing, we must have a legal basis. One legal basis may be your consent as the data subject, and another—especially when monitoring activities and evaluating them—may be the legitimate interest of the controller (i.e., us) to offer you the best possible service settings or support for your activities within the contractual relationship with our company, including direct advertising.
Types of Cookies We Evaluate
Session cookies - these are temporary cookies stored on your computer, laptop, or mobile device until you leave the website(s), at which point they are deleted. Such cookies help the website remember information as you move from page to page, so you do not need to re-enter or repeatedly fill out information.
Persistent cookies - remain stored on your computer, laptop, or mobile device even after you leave the website(s); such cookies help the website remember you when you return as a visitor, but they do not identify you as a person.
Purpose of Using Cookies
In general, cookies can be divided into
three categories based on their function:
- Necessary
- Analytical
- Advertising
Necessary cookies Necessary cookies
These are essential for the operation of the website and cannot be turned off. They ensure basic functionality and security. They are collected anonymously and do not contain any data that could identify the website visitor.
By disabling them, we cannot guarantee the full functionality of our website.
Analytical cookies These are used to collect data showing how users interact with the website. They also monitor website performance after various user activities. They do not collect any personal information about the visitor – only anonymous data used to improve the site. This includes the number of page views, time spent on the site, page load speed, and similar metrics – all aimed at improving site performance.
With their help, we:
- obtain statistical data on how our websites are used,
- determine the effectiveness of our advertising (Note: We do NOT use this information to send you advertising when you visit other sites),
- provide our partners with information that one of our visitors also visited their website (for example, data about a purchased product). Based on this information, partners can improve their sites, but they are strictly prohibited from using this data for subsequent advertising,
- can detect potential errors and improve site quality by fixing them,
- test various concepts of our websites.
By disabling them, we cannot guarantee the full functionality of our website.
Advertising cookies These provide visitors with relevant ads and marketing campaigns based on their behavior. Such cookies track users across different websites and collect information to personalize advertising. They are connected to services provided by other companies, such as “Like” and “Share” buttons. These services are provided by another company in connection with your visit to our website.
With their help, we:
- can link you to social networks such as Facebook, and based on your visit data, you may receive ads from other websites,
- can provide information about your visit to advertising agencies, which may then send you advertisements that could be of interest to you.
